This Marathi movie creates history as Akash Thosar & Rinku Rajguru Marathi starrer emerges a blockbuster earning 41.11 crore till Day 11 i.e. till second Monday. Even second Tuesday earns a decent income with slight fall which is absolutely impressive. The film is having huge craze resulting into all movie shows going house-full across Maharashtra state. The film is having good and strong run even in Week 2.

Marathi Movie Sairat box office collection till 11 day has minted Rs 41.11 crore and this is the first Marathi film to earn such amount of collections in opening 11 days itself as even Natsamrat took some more days to reach at this amont.
The box office performance of Sairat is brilliant till now as even in weekdays the movie is not stopping from collecting stable income.
Even Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film “Lai Bhaari” had this following income shared by Taran Adarsh:-

So, looking at the previous much hyped movie, this current movie earns far better collections than Riteish Deshmukh starrer which collected Rs 25.58 crore in total 13 days whereas Sairat collects Rs 41.11 crore in total 11 days itself. You can see a difference of more than 15 crores which is comparatively far better than Lai Bhaari.
Sairat movie has has also beaten many Bollywood movies lifetime collections of “Jai Gangaajal,” “Wazir” and Sanam Re” which is absolutely unbelievable but this is the truth that Marathi films are coming up with strong content giving competition to Hindi films.
This romantic film released on 29th of April 2016 has received lot of critical acclaim for its story line and the actors’ performances. This is the second film of director Nagraj Manjule whose previous movie “Fandry” released in 2014 also won the hearts of audience and grabbing 61st National Film Award for “Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director.”
