As per early trends, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. Telugu Starrer “Nannaku Prematho” 1st day collection is expected to fetch Rs 15 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) on its opening day as per Ibtimes.com. It also grosses 5 crore to its distributors on its opening day as per early trends.
According to Taran Adarsh, film collects $346,056 [₹ 2.31 crore in Indian rates] from around 73 locations on Tuesday (Pre-day of release in United States of America). This shows that it had terrific start in overseas markets as well. This Telugu action family drama film earned terrific profit collection despite of losing many locations in USA and other International cinema houses which had less show counts due to prints delay.
The film profits were at peak in the morning shows itself. Many theatres witnessed unprecedented crowd outside and inside the cinema theatres. Mostly all cinema halls registered 100% occupancy rate in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Chennai. As per media reports, few movie buffs buyed the film tickets in black at Rs 1000.
It stays with highest occupancy rate of 85% all over the globe as many cinema theatres were packed and declared house full in the morning only.
The film will be definitely biggest opener of Junior NTR till now. Experts report also speaks that it is likely to break “Srimanthudu” box office profit records and can earn first spot in Top Tollywood opener.
