The film is showing good performance at box office counters running successfully even on weekdays of Tuesday and Wednesday. With this income the films crosses the budget mark for sure and have started earning the pure profit. Shakun Batra directorial movie has not only grabbed good review and rating from critics but also grabs some good box office numbers selling huge numbers of tickets.
Kapoor and Sons 5th day collection is officially out by Taran Adarsh stating that the film earned a profit of Rs 4.50 crore whereas Monday income was 5.08 crore which means the film falls down with very low income with 11.41%. The film passes the weekday test and earns a decent income on both these weekdays till Tuesday that takes it total amount at Rs 35.93 crore.
Whereas, Kapoor and Sons 6th day box office collection mints a turnover of Rs 4.02. crore* on Wednesday which means the film is seen with less downfall compared to Tuesday as the festival of Holi gives this stable revenue.
Therefore, KAS total 6 days business now stands up at Rs 35.95 crore* that is approx 40 crore mark which is completely positive for the film producers. The film now heads at another target of 50 crore which will be easily achieved by it.
The film is seen with excellent hold at ticket windows with occupancy of around 35-40% at cinema theatres. Like Airlift and Neerja kept January and February flag high, this film is doing it for March month.
Infact, Kapoor and Sons has beats Neerja one week business of Rs 35.32 crore before completing the week only and even this film stays as second highest Grosser of year 2016 till now.
