Chiyaan Vikram’s Iru Mugan 8th day box office collection mints gross 75 crore income and emerges as third highest 2016 Tamil Movie. The film was unable to surpass Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” and Vijay’s “Theri” collection but still manages to take third position in Telugu 2016 Collection List. The overwhelmed response led the movie collect impressive revenue from Tamil Nadu. The film is running at 400 theatres in Tamil Nadu whereas remaining 600 in other market.

After grossing excellent business in opening week, it stands at a gross income of 75 crore so far. On last day of Wednesday, the movie faced some drop collecting 2.75 crores and took itself at 70 crore.
As per Thursday reports, Iru Mugan 8th Day Box office Collection marks an approx. business of 2.15 crore* in its grand total. As you can see, it falls with a business of 50 lakhs from Wednesday to Thursday i.e. 20% Business fall in Tamil Nadu.
Now calculating its total revenue, Vikram starrer marks 29.65 crore* from Tamil Nadu, 20.75 crore from AP/T state, 3.65 crore from Kerala and 4 crore from International market.
Therefore, Iru Mugan total gross collection so far in 8 days marks up at Rs 75 crores globally whereas net profit stays around 54.05 crore in India and 58.05 Internationally.
The movie is seen holding its grip over audience and is estimated to show slight fall in its business in coming second week.
