Force 2 1st Day/ Friday Total Box Office Collection report registers 15-20% occupancy rate in morning shows. The audience occupancy could have been better but because of the box office clash with “Tum Bin 2” it managed to stay lower than expectation. Still, the film ended up with decent profit numbers. Coming on to its afternoon shows, it showed a growth in business while evening and night shows on Friday were relatively better than the initial Friday shows.

Demonetization has definitely affected the business of the film otherwise the response would be better. Film stars John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles as it primarily targets mass centres and single screen theatres.

While John’s last film “Rocky Handsome” made Rs 5.39 crores on Day 1 while this action thriller stays higher.

The two questions that arises in trade experts minds are:-

Will this action thriller be able to grab its position among the Top 10 lifetime grosser of Sonakshi Sinha? As “Bullet Raja” standing at 10th place collected 33 crores as lifetime income.

On the other side, will Force 2 be able to grab in Top 10 lifetime grosser of John Abraham movies? As “Dhoom” released in 2004 collected Rs 31.75 crores standing at tenth position.
