Dhruva Completes 50 Days at the South Indian Box Office running at rare theatres. The Indian Telugu film that was released on 9th December 2016 has successfully completed 50 days in the theatres. The critically acclaimed movie fetched more than it bargained and has been one of hit movies down south. The mega power star Ram Charan seen with Arvind Swamy, Rakul Preet Singh’s latest sensation at the box office Dhruva is a remake of Tamil super hit movie “Thani Oruvan”. The film was directed by Surendra Reddy, produced Under Geetha Arts by Allu Arvind and N.V.Prasad.

The movie that started on a good note saw positive reviews and word of mouth that gave a kick start from the beginning managed to collect 10.35 Crores on its opening day and earned Rs 22.30 Crores Worldwide. Even though being a remake the movie was widely appreciated. The movie outstretched $1 million marks in the US. The movie made over Rs 97 Crore Gross and net Rs 86 Crore share and Rs 58 Crores shares from AP/Tg as Final numbers even after facing demonetization. If the sources to be believed the movie would have grossed more if it wouldn’t have faced the demonetization which had a major effect on the occupancy rate in the theatres.
Dhruva contains a peculiar script which was loved by its viewers, which treated the audiences with a good screenplay. Overall, the critics, as well as the viewer’s accepted the movie and the blockbuster, defeated all odds emerging one of the hits.
