This film again has left a mark in audiences mind earning second highest income on opening day after Sultan. It stays as second-biggest non-holiday as per last day business.
The film fails to earn more than Sultan Movie on release day but is expected to mark huge lifetime business. It is definitely affected by demonetisation but the weekend days will bring more satisfying profit numbers to its grand total. Aamir Khan has raised his bar as an actor and giving a film of the decade. The film is also released in Telugu & Tamil language as well earning a profit of Rs 59 lacs on release day affecting Ram Charan’s Dhruva Telugu starrer to some extent.
Now, coming on to the business of Dangal Tuesday box office income, it brought higher occupancy & audiences to cinema theaters earning bigger income than yesterday.
Also, this Sakshi Tanwar starrer stays as second highest opening day grosser after Dhoom 3 collecting Rs 29.78 crores last day. It is also expected to cross 100 crores in a weekend by other websites but according to our trade experts the film won’t cross 100 crores as in two days run it mint around 60 crores and collecting 40 crores on Sunday it difficult but as it is Christmas has 80% chances to bring its huge amount from box office.
Dangal 2nd Day Collection marked a profit of Rs 32.67 crores* approx. on Tuesday accumulating its business till Tuesday above 60 crores. Entering in Bollywood 100 crore club is a bit difficult for the film in weekend. Coming on to the overseas business of Dangal, it made $ 4.2 million [₹ 28.49 cr] till Friday collecting highest income from North America & UAE-GCC countries.
Therefore, Dangal 2 days box office has made a domestic business of Rs 62.45 crores* approx as per 24th December 2016 report.
