[Taran Adarsh report] Azhar 1st Day Box Office Collection on 13th May 2016 stays decent claimed by TARAN ADARSH as per Friday business report. Imraan Hashmi movie released has created good buzz and stays as the Top fifth movie collecting highest collection where it was unable to break the collections of his previous films Raaz 3 [10.25 Cr], Jannat 2 [8.5 Cr], Ghanchakkar [7.4 Cr], Murder 2 [7.1 Cr], Azhar [6.3 Cr], Ek Thi Daayan [6.24 Cr], , Raja Natwarlal [6.1 Cr].

The movie as per reliable sources has opened up well in Gujarat compared to all other areas. On the other side, it is also seen struggling in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi regions.

Overall, the movie has opened up with 25% occupancy from all Indian regions till afternoon shows but as per the current status and booking report, it will go at a occupancy of 50-65% till night shows.

The film is earning good collections and is decent than Emraan Hashmi’s previous six to seven films response but there are also many movies shared above which has better collections this this. It is having better response than his previous hits Harami Ahdhuri Kahani and Ek Thi Dayaan and Raja Natwarlal

The film has already gone with 45-55% occupancy and picked up with more with direct audience coming at theatres the movie has grabs its position in Top 10 highest grosser of 2016.

Azhar 1st day box office collection stands with respectable income earning a profit of Rs 6.30 crore on Friday claimed by Taran Adarsh. Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri starrer has created a massive buzz and the word of mouth will take its collections to good numbers in further days.

The movie is made in a total budget of Rs 28 crore where 12 crore are spent on marketing and promotions. The movie is expected to recover this budget in opening days of release.
