Both Punjabi Films had positive response on opening day of release as the pre-release itself has created much hype among the audience. The popular singer cum actor Gippy Grewal has turned out as director with his film Ardaas and the positive word of mouth led the film earned good income in India. The brilliant performances of actors and good content Led Ardaas collects Rs 1.30 crore* on first day. Compared to both film Ammy Virk & Gurpreet Ghuggi starrer earns better income than Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta Punjabi starrer.
As per Taran Adarsh Love Punjab has overtaken Bollywood Films Airlift and Bajirao Mastani collections in New Zealand and Australia which is completely surprising as regional films have beat such biggie Bollywood movies in International market.
