Saturday Box Office: 2nd Day Bank Chor and Super Singh Box Office Collection on Saturday Grows 20-25%

Both the Films Bollywood and Pollywood released on same day. Riteish Deshmukh starrer Bank Chor earned 1.40 crores on opening day (Decent performance) while Punjabi Film Super Singh made 2.90 crores gross and 1.80 crores net (Highest Opening Grosser of Punjabi Films ever).

Now talking about Saturday report, this film showed good growth of 80% occupancy in evening shows compared to morning occupancy of 40% in Punjab. It seems unstoppable breaking his last Sardaarji 2 Day 1 record of 2.75 crores.

Super Singh tends to be highest opening grosser among all Punjabi Movies. The collections itself shows the star value and huge fan base of Diljit Dosanjh. The actor is growing with his every film and his entry in Bollywood has also made a mark on other competitive film actors. It collects another 2.05 crores net. growing 20% from last day, totaling two days collection at 3.85 crores net.

On the other side, Bank Chor made 1.52 crores on the second day as it has no competition in major cities. Yes, another Bollywood film Phullu is also running but it covers fewer screens across India whereas this Vivek Oberoi starrer is released at 700 screens with 15 crores budget.

Therefore, total two days business of Bank Chor now stands at Rs 2.92 crores i.e. recovered 18% of Budget. Hope, both films shows a better hike on Sunday as well.
